How did you get started with fitness & bodybuilding?

I was always into general gym fitness and in the gym 3 or 4 times, keeping fit and healthy runs in the family. I always used to look at other competitors and the greatest bodybuilder of all time Arnold Schwarzenegger and thought one day I’d like to be like that.

What were the defining moments that have guided you towards the fitness & bodybuilding lifestyle?

At present there are none as I am working towards my first ever competition, but being supported by Team Wild is certainly paying dividends as through the proper nutrition advice and training tips, plus with Matt always on hand on social media to offer helpful tips goes a long way.

Where does your motivation and inspiration stem from?

I have always been highly motivated as a person as whatever I have wanted to achieve I’ve put my mind and energy into achieving it. Plus it always helps to have family and friends who understand what you are doing on a day to day basis helping you along the way.

What keeps you going to push harder?

I am focused on my goal which is to step on stage and compete against the very best the fitness industry has to offer, it’s like the old saying goes “no matter how hard you push, there is always someone pushing just as hard”.

What workout routine has worked best for you?

I don’t have a set routine which I follow on a week to week basis as that then makes you become stagnant in your training, one week I will keep a split of one body part per day, the following week I would alternate and keep it to two body parts per day. That way it forces the mind to think out of the box and helps keep you motivated, as well.

What is your favorite muscle group to train?

All-time favorite is legs, it’s the best, second favorite has to be back, followed by chest, then biceps/triceps and abs and calves.

What is your approach to nutrition?

I have a very open mind to nutrition, now that I am fully focused on what I want to achieve I am looking at nutrition much more seriously and only focus on putting into my body what is good for me. That being said, I do have a sweet tooth and the odd spoonful or two of Nutella doesn’t go amiss ;)!

What is your supplementation like?

Currently I am using AD (Greens) which I have found absolutely awesome! And BCAA’s, plus Muscle Fury Protein.

What is your cardio routine like? Do you prefer to use HIIT or SSCV?

Currently I am really enjoying SSCV, but as show day comes closer am sure that SSCV will change to HIIT.

What are your bodybuilding / fitness goals?

My goal is to compete in my first ever fitness show and hopefully many more after that.

What advice and tips would you give to new beginners as well as well-established competitors?
If you have a goal, and want to achieve something, never give up on your dream, yes there will be ups and downs in life but that is part of the parcel, have a clear mind-set on what it is you are after when you are in the gym and focus on achieving that goal. To the established stars, keep working hard and keep inspiring many others to achieve, we are all in it together so let’s all help each other.

Thank you.
