Many people have statedΒ the benefits of Omega 3 asΒ wide ranging, and one of them claimed is muscle retention.

 

Washington University Of Medicene supplemented the diets of 40 older adults for 6 months.

 

Fish oil slowed muscle loss associated with age, known as sarcopenia.

 

This was shown in many ways including leg press, chest press and leg extension, Β and on thigh muscle volume.

 

They concluded that Omega 3 fatty acid supplements may help prevent muscle loss with ageing and improve cell health and over all longevity.
