Battling illness whilst competition preparations are in full swing can surely get one rattled… And as I see my dreams slipping away through my fingers I realize another page is turning, another dream is over and put to rest… And I need to start looking for the next big thing.
I remember the days I used to be just a child, testing for the national gymnastics team, dreaming to be the next Nadia Comaneci, to be the second person in history to receive that perfect 10… My dream never happened…
My luck always strikes like that; an illness kicks in and have to abandon ship in pursuit of health. Health ALWAYS comes first.
And as I sit here, writing to you, I realize life is always full of options, time never stops for anyone and ANYTHING can happen in a split of a second…
I was reading last night about a young bodybuilder – a great man, as described by many – found dead in his home, the sadness of a promising life, ended…
It makes me realise a lot worse could have happened besides me taking time of to recover, maybe some travelling and of course – always updating my knowledge and improving my skills.
I love learning, not only accumulating knowledge, but also learning to deal with lifeβs adverse effects and tribulations.
Won’t spend my time, waiting to die… enjoy the life I’m living. :0))
I’ll be checking in tomorrow. I have a surprise for you.
Wishing you a great day.
