Although in many aspects I am a self-made person, in my corner there are those who add tremendous value to my journey.
My sisters Adina and Manuela and their partners, my awesome nephews (Edi calls me daily just to chat 
<3), my hubby who has the front seat to all my tears, joys, dark moments – the one and only Matt, my coach George who I adore beyond words and is there for me no matter what.
Ever since I can remember I was laughed and mocked at. Back then it was from the bad reputation my family had, for being poor, wearing shoes that were too big, clothes that were ill-fitting. I remember all those who laughed at me. I may act now as if I don’t, but you know who you are. :0)) I remember everything.
These days they laugh at other things, what I become… and gets me thinking: you laugh at me? Better laugh at you!
See… my dream was to be the next Nadia Comaneci, to get that perfect 10. That dream was shattered in 1989. A better future meant giving up my dream for good. At 9 years old I saw no other future for myself.
Sports was my life and something I thought was the only thing I was good at. My passion was reignited in 2012, I was 32.
