People often swear by music helping, is there any truth?
There is a number of studies that suggest so.
So what did this study say?
An Israeli study found that playing music after A six minute run actually helped with greater activity in recovery, lowered blood lactate levels (lactic acid) and lowered perceived exertion.
What did they conclude?
It appears that music indeed does help with recovery. Currently however they are unsure which music works best. Another study perhaps?
