How did you get started with fitness & bodybuilding? What were the defining moments that have guided you towards the fitness & bodybuilding lifestyle?

Started as kid, when I was 16, but only because it was a “trend”. 4 years of going to the gym just to say that I’m a lifter. After some bad things in my life (not so meaningful) I’ve dedicated myself to educating into the art & lifestyle of fitness and bodybuilding.

This fall, on October 11th I will even join my first competition, in the Men’s Physique category.

Where does your motivation and inspiration stem from? What keeps you going to push harder?

Being different than 90% of the planet. Walking down the street, people passing by looking a bit amazed, at my arms veins, at my size(I’m not huge, but I am big compared to “normal” people) and I always wanted a fit body, but now I don’t want it anymore,  I WORKED FOR IT and now I HAVE IT!

What workout routine has worked best for you?

With 6 training times per week, each day for each group, except for arms day. 1 workout is dedicated for my lagging parts, I call it the “Details Workout”.  I usually do traps or rear shoulders, lower back, abs.

I even celebrate Monday- International Chest Day !!!

What is your favorite muscle group to train?

By far, the back workout is my favorite.  Whenever the back day comes, I will be like “Oh yea, you’re going to smash them weights, it’s deadlift TIME ! “

What is your approach to nutrition?

My macros are 45% 45% 10%  . I don’t run away from carbs and as for meat I eat only chicken breast, fish and sometimes beef. I avoid dairy products, I only eat greek yogurt when I’m bulking. I weigh everything I eat, sum it up (in my head). All the math, it becomes very easy after a while and rather fun.

And I avoid as much as possible cheat-meals, because I have the habit of overextending.

What is your supplementation like?

Whey all the way. No, just kidding, I only have a protein shake in the morning and one post-workout.

I cycle Creatine , 8weeks on, 4 weeks off.

BCAA 4:1:1 – pills (I can’t stand the powder form of the aminos)

When I’m cutting I take L-Glutamine powder (10-15g per day)

What is your cardio routine like? Do you prefer to use HIIT or SSCV?

I used to do HIIT, but I like that burn in the legs too much and I usually end up overextending my HIIT session which can really get you in a bad catabolic state.

I usually do 5-6 times per week SSC, post workout. Depending on the time until the competition, I go for 20-45 minutes per session.

What are your future bodybuilding / fitness goals?

This year, I will enter my first competition, Men’s Physique category, in a local competition.

My dream regarding bodybuilding :  Arnold Classic Europe – Men’s Physique.

What advice and tips would you give to new beginners as well as well-established competitors?

I often hear that a workout has 30% importance and that diet is 70%. This is wrong, you must always go 100% on training and 100% on your diet.

And the most useful advice: set your goals straight. Know what you want, bulk or cut, skinny or muscular, huge or fit. Don’t go bulking 2-3 months, you see some fat adding and you start panicking and go again for cutting.

Be strong! Be consistent! Be phenomenal!

Thank you!
