Lately we have been training in various gyms around Wolverhampton and predominantly noticed that what gave us an edge in our training was the overall gym atmosphere. Things we see around us, lighting, temperature, staff, other people training, you name it.
Sure, you can say – bring your own music or create a list of your favourite tunes, put your beats in your ears and plough through. However, when you coach while you train or you have a training partner, you need to not only concentrate on your form but monitor and coach your trainee or training buddy, as well. Reason why headphones are not always a viable solution.
Matt’s favorite music is metal mainly… Staind, Disturbed, Creed, Linkin Park, Drowning Pool, Soil, Rammstein, Slipknot – you name it. You know… the hardcore stuff. However, moving more into the dance scene recently and loving Swedish House Mafia – Don’t You Worry Child feat. John Martin.
Yo is a bit more demure and enjoys happy positive tunes.
While the environment plays a major role or impact on training overall, how do you ensure you have all you need physically? Would you agree that gyms can make or break the deal for you when it comes to workouts?
Another important aspect of training is supplementation. PROZIS products we use to help with our training and recovery:
Intra-Workout BCAA
Postworkout Whey Protein
