A little fat loss maths that some people don’t seem to follow, so we will explain.
Some want masses of weight to drop in a few weeks just before the spring or summer or holiday and this is not possible in a healthy manner – we will explain.
If you are 200lb and 30% body fat and want to be 10% body fat, this means you have 20% to lose.
20% of 200lb is 40lb.
This means at around 2lb a week, you’ll need around 20 weeks to cut at a sensible rate without masses of cardio and/or dropping calories too heavily.
Even if you are smaller, you deficit will be smaller and allow less of a calorie drop to speed fat loss.
Give yourself time for your goals – this allows the odd slip up/day or two and you get to keep calories as high as possible.
