Don’t worry about a week off plan and weight gain – unless you’ve gone bonkers it’s mostly just water. The below is 1000+ calorie excess for 7 days.

Get back on plan post NYE and everything within a week or two will snap right back into place… this isn’t to say do this regularly but once in a while the effect is minimal and mostly just water and will barely effect your progress.

Obviously if you’ve had a lower carb approach water may bounce right up but this will pass when you resume your normal diet (Y)

Before you stress-out about how indulging on extra calories in tomorrow night’s festivities will impact body comp, consider the accompanying study.
