A recent study from Penn State College of Medicine states that All-cause mortality may be significantly reduced through the identification of and engagement in guideline-concordant ST interventions by older adults.

 

What does this mean in plain English?  In the study they found the chances of all causes of mortality dropped by around 46% in those that strength trained.

 

This means that lifting weights in effect, may make you living longer.
